Zipline Bovec: obiskovalec drvi po jeklenici visoko nad dolino Krnice, v ozadju vrhovi Julijcev in Bovška kotlina.

Zipline Bovec

The Krnica Valley from above looks different than you imagined. Greener. Bigger. Quieter. Zipline Bovec stretches five cables between Kanin and Rombon, three kilometres of open air at 1,300 metres. The hardest part is the first step off the platform. After that, you just fly.

Five cables over the valley

The first descent is over before you fully register it, and already you cannot wait for the next. Below you the alpine forest, deep gorges and slopes drop away toward the valley, while the wind makes you feel more alive than you have in a long time. Each cable runs its own way, between 550 and 700 metres long, one steep and fast, the next long and gentle.

The start sits at 1,300 metres, where the ground below seems to fall away forever. The moment you push off, you are carried up to 60 km/h within seconds, 200 metres above the valley, in the middle of scenery most people only ever see on foot. Cable by cable you drop closer to the floor and finish just above the lower station of the Kanin cable car, where your ride up began.

No experience needed. Before the real cables you warm up on a short practice line, where the guides show you everything you need to know.

Frequently Asked Questions

None at all. Guides teach you everything you need on the practice polygon, then stay with you on every platform. Most guests have never ziplined before, and within the first few metres they realise it is far easier than they expected.
Launching yourself into open air 200 metres above the valley is not an everyday thing, and that is exactly the appeal. You are attached to backup safety systems the whole way and a guide controls every descent. That leaves you free to spend your courage on the first step, and we take care of the rest.
Zipline is suitable for the whole family. Lighter children are safely secured alongside a guide or parent for the descent. If you are unsure whether your child is ready, contact us and we will decide together.
Sport clothes and closed-toe shoes, ideally hiking or sturdy sport shoes. No sandals or flip-flops: the ground between platforms is mountain path, so solid footing matters.
Light rain does not stop us, and the clouds can look spectacular from up high. Wind matters more than rain, and a thunderstorm means we stop immediately. Safety always comes first.
Yes. Zipline and rafting are a popular pairing: above the valley in the morning, down the river through it in the afternoon. A package saves you money too. See Adventure Packages
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your booking. If we cancel for weather, you are always fully refunded or rescheduled at your preference.
